Adventures in Cake Pops!
I have found my new obsession- CAKE POPS! Who knew those tiny bite-sized cakes covered in candy could be so much fun and delicious? After searching on Pinterest and blogs, I think i have perfected the best way to make simple cake pops. I have outlined it below:
- Make pops. I used a cake pop maker my husband got for christmas. It looks like a waffle maker, and can be purchased at your favorite big box retailer.
- Melt candy. I used Wilton’s Candy Melts I bought at Wal-Mart. They melt down really nice and give that shiny smooth coating.
- Dip stick. VERY important, it keeps the pop on the stick.
- Stick in stick. Almost to the top of the pop.
- Dip pop. Emerce it completely and tap on the side while rotating to make any extra drip off.
- Sprinkle pop. Decorate with nonperils or your choice of cake decoration. Do this before the candy dries, or they won’t stick.
- Stand pop. You can buy a Wilton Cake Pop stand at Wal-Mart, but I just punched holes in a cardboard box lid for mine.

That’s it! I would consider myself an amateur cake popper, but I think I did pretty good. Share your adventures in cake popping below!
Baby getting licked by Dog
This was just too funny to not post! I rapid shot 9 photos and put them together in Photoshop to make this animation:

My dog certainly does a better job of cleaning up the baby than I could ever do…
How a Webdesign Goes Straight to Hell

I am not joking, I am dealing with a client RIGHT now that is like this:

Today I got this in an email:
The designs are not BOLD enough, our entire advertising campaign needs to be very bold and exciting to the customer.
P.S. Their colors are hot pink and purple. The colors alone can make a person go blind.
Being a web designer is supposed to be a fun career, at least graphic design sounded fun in high school, when I started playing around in Photoshop seriously. But clients can really ruin the fun….
