Family is very important to me. And I bet if you are looking for a photographer, you think the same thing. You want to make sure that you can capture the essence of what makes you a family without feeling uncomfortable or posed. I prefer to let families feel comfortable when I take photos, so I remind folks that if at anytime, they don't want to do something... say so! I like to do my family photographs on location, out in the wild, back to nature. Even if that means I will get attacked by bugs, or walk through waist high grass. I have been known to  scale walls, to get the shot.
